Naturally Gifted Ideas – Christmas Gift Guide 2024

Are you stuck for what to buy the nature lover in your life this Christmas? Fear not! We’ve put together a list to help you find the perfect gift, whether you’re buying for that special someone or treating yourself because you’re excellent. Read on so it’s only the birds that are in a flap this December.

Bird Box Camera and Screen Pack

When Simon says ‘simple setup’, he’s probably referring to our new Bird Box Camera and Screen Pack! And when he sees it, the next words he’ll say are ‘plug and play’. He’s not talking about some trendy bar in Silicon Valley; simply power everything up and the camera will connect to the screen automatically.

The screen and camera pair using wireless technology, and the range is at least 50m. You can also take a leisurely stroll around your house while you watch, thanks to the screen’s rechargeable battery. As an optional bonus, you can even use WiFi to connect to the Green Feathers App and share the footage further afield.

Birds can be colourful characters, and the camera loves proving it. It’ll pick up all the feathered frolicking in vibrant, clear colour during the day. In the dark it switches to night vision mode, using invisible infrared LEDs that emit no glow. (We tried giving the camera a torch but it didn’t have hands, and the birds wouldn’t have enjoyed a sudden burst of light anyway!)

WiFi Bird Box & Wildlife Habitat HD Camera

For those with a smartphone or tablet handy, our WiFi Bird Box and Wildlife Habitat HD Camera is the perfect way to watch wildlife. It works brilliantly with our very own Green Feathers app, allowing you to check up on your winged neighbours wherever you are.

Like many of our cameras, this little beauty is right at home in a bird box or wildlife habitat. It’s small and unobtrusive, so you can satisfy your curiosity about creatures without ruffling any feathers. (Or upsetting any spines if you’ve popped one in a hedgehog house.)

Wondering how easy it is to install a camera? Check out this video for more info:

Perhaps you’re considering this for yourself, or maybe it’ll be winging its way to a fortunate friend. Either way, you’ll probably get to enjoy the wildlife footage. The WiFi setup makes it easy to share all the action, so you can be confident of a front row seat to the wonders of nature.

Wildlife Habitats

Digital windows to the wild are completely and utterly brilliant, but so’s giving wildlife a place to live. A purpose-built wildlife habitat makes a great gift, particularly if you’re all covered for cameras.

You might expect us to provide high-quality bird boxes – and you’d be right. But we’ve got other habitats too. These include hedgehog houses and bug hotels, and now we’ve even got handmade bat boxes! In short, we’ve got plenty of ways to turn your garden into a haven for all sorts of wildlife.

We hope that’s given you plenty of gift ideas so you’ll be all set for Christmas. If you still need a bit of help deciding, try our camera quiz. (It asks you what you’re looking for rather than testing your camera knowledge, so it’s impossible to fail it.)

We’d also love to hear what you’re hoping to find under your tree this year, and how you’re planning to spread nature-themed joy to your nearest and dearest. Let us know all about it on social media, and in the meantime, we wish you a very pleasant 25th of December!
